We often forget that each flush uses between   3 and 9 liters of drinking water  . Yes, perfectly clean water, the same water we use for drinking or cooking. And what's all this for? To flush away a few milliliters of urine.

Imagine a family of four, each flushing the toilet   five or six times a day  . The result:   over 100 liters of water used per day… or over 36,000 liters per year   !   That's the equivalent of over 500 washing machine cycles  …
