Drying your laundry directly in the washing machine: a trick that replaces a tumble dryer

Drying your laundry directly in the washing machine: a trick that replaces a tumble dryer

We've all experienced that moment when the laundry stubbornly refuses to dry: repeated rain, radiators already in use, or an apartment too small to hang clothes properly. And yet, there's a very simple technique, right in your washing machine, that can make all the difference. A trick so discreet, you'll wonder how you ever missed it… Ready to discover it?
Drying laundry without a dryer: a daily challenge.
When winter arrives or the weather is unpredictable, drying laundry becomes a real headache. No balcony, a living room already full, clothes that take hours to dry… In short, not ideal when you're constantly doing loads of laundry. Many dream of a dryer, but between the cost, the space, and the energy consumption, it's not always realistic. And yet, your washing machine can help you more than you imagine.

The napkin trick: a small gesture, a big effect

You may have already heard of this famous towel, but never actually tried it. Yet, the idea is as simple as it is clever: slip a dry towel into the drum before the spin cycle. Thanks to its absorbent material, it absorbs some of the moisture left in the clothes after the main cycle. The result? Much less damp laundry coming out of the machine, and therefore significantly faster drying.

For this to really work, choose a fast spin cycle, around 1000 revolutions per minute. No need for more: the towel does the rest, acting as a small, natural "water absorber".

Why does it change daily life?
